About Us
Yawgoo Valley Ski Patrol (YVSP) operates under the auspices of Yawgoo Valley Search and Rescue (YVSAR). Our 50+ member patrol provides Yawgoo Valley Ski Area with a variety of services, including safety patrols, trail monitoring and closures, on-the-hill and off-the-hill first aid, emergency transportation from the hill, and lift evacuation in the event of a lift failure. We train for these events before and during the ski season, operating out of a state-of-the-art facility completed in February, 2004. This facility includes an office area, kitchen, patroller room, boot storage closet, and a fully-equipped Advanced Life Support patient evaluation room. Yawgoo Valley Ski Patrol and all of its patrollers are also proud members of the National Ski Patrol.
