Mission
YVSAR provides search and rescue services to the state as well as medical coverage for sponsored events such as charity marathons and walks. We are activated through co-ordination with the RI Emergency Management Agency. For activation of these volunteer state medical resources, or for state incidents and disasters please contact RI Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) and/or RI State Police.
